Sonohysterography is a specialized procedure by which, usually sterile saline, is pushed into the uterine cavity, and sonography performed simultaneously. The procedure outlines intrauterine pathology such as polyps, Asherman’s syndrome, uterine malformations, or submucous leiomyoma.
