Folliculometry is a series of Ultrasound done to find out how many follicles are growing in the ovaries. Folliculometry is done with the help of a transvaginal probe. It commences on day 2 or 3 of periods with a baseline ultrasound to see the baseline status of the ovaries prior to starting stimulation before IUI or IVF.
